Nursing
Home Litigation
What
is nursing home neglect? It can come in many forms such as the
failure to provide basic personal hygiene, failure to provide
a safe environment, failure to prevent malnutrition or dehydration,
and failure to provide adequate medical and Medicare needs of
the patient.
If
your loved one appears withdrawn during visits or you observe
a personality change or other symptoms surface in the form of
depression, passivity, guilt, fear and hopelessness, your nursing
home may be suspect of mistreatment. The strongest indicators
of neglect or physical abuse can be seen via unexplained bruises,
fractures, falls, ulcers or bedsores. More
